I always get in my job logs the following kind of message "W3404 Unable to open file. (FILE=C:\WINNT\system32\Perflib_Perfdata_56c.dat, EC=SHARING VIOLATION)", and each day I´ve got a new file in this warning.
Does anyone knows how to fix this warning? Because of this...
You have to set in your Domain Security Policy the following priviliges to the account you are using:
- logon as a service
- logon locally
- logon as a batch job
Don't forget to login with that account and configured a Outlook profile. Try to send a message with that account...

Do you mean the NT Agent on the ArcServe machine or the Exchange Agent on the Exchange Server ?
This is what I have :
Arcserve (server): Arcserve Advanced Edition,Open Files Agent, Disaster Recovery
Exchange Serve : NT Agent and Exchange Agent.

Whem I run a backup job I get the error: E4102 Unable to open database (DTABASE=ASTPSDAT, EC=-46, every time the job needs to update the arcserve database. At the end of job the database engine service is stopped by ArcServe.

Yes It was the Exchange 2000 Information Store and Mailboxes. Altough having renamed the folder 00001.qsl seems to have cleaned the job that was corrupted.
