I downloaded md5sum to my computer and checked the enigma file and found that it doesn't match the md5sum file included with the downloads. I used ftp to 'get' these files. Is it possible that I did something wrong in downloading them?

Newbe here trying to figure out Linux.
I downloaded the Redhat 7.2 .iso files.
I downloaded the boot.img file and the rawrite program and created a linux boot floppy. Got the spanish version by mistake but it still works.
I took the .iso files, double clicked on them and started up Roxio...
I fixed it. I took one of the upper directory names, which were quite long too, and renamed it to a shorter name.
I was then able to delete the subdirectory and all the files.
I think the problem was something to do with the total length of the file name with all the directories included...
Yep< I tried teh command prompt and the del command. It just indicates "no such file". I've used wild cards '*' to no affect. That one file is just broke and I can't get at it.

I've done everything that was posted in the FAQ section, I've loaded NETBEUI, I've made sure the workgroups are the same, etc.
I still can't get WIN98 computer to access the Win2k PRo computer. Says I don't have permission to access it. I've set the shared folder...
I'm having the same problem. I can't get into Win2000 system from my Win98 system dispite having the shared permissions wide open.
I'll try the Guest login idea and see if that helps

Are you implying that installing programs as the Administrator will cause them to start running when the computer boots but before someone logs in?
If so then that is great. I have a couple of programs I'd like to use like that.
