Thank you Both!
I did check each, and in searching for drivers found the "Plantronics Hub" app from their support site. Pretty useful client tool.
It auto-detects and supports the product connected to your laptop and provides update alerts for firmware/drivers etc..
It also identifies the voip...
Seems like my life has be revolving around Avaya Equinox as of late...
Our environment utilizes multiple voice applications within the infrastructure:
- Microsoft Teams and Skype for business for conference calls as well as point to point between colleagues.
- Avaya Equinox for our standard...
Kyle555,
I have yet another question on Equinox.
We have x number of Basic user licenses, which means we can use Equinox onsite on our network without issues for voice calls.
We also have y number of Advanced SBC Licenses (Remote Worker) which means we can use Equinox 'offsite'...
Thank you Kyle555! I get that now. SIP Phones will survive as long as there's a BSM in place..
But, how's it work with an Avaya Equinox Soft Phone application on a Laptop?
To ensure survivability for an Equinox soft phone user, what's the infrastructure?
A DID number would terminate at the...
(Sorry for the "HELP" part)
I am just not seeing a clear picture here for a site that will work STRICTLY with Equinox as the primary solution with local survivability.
For example:
DID's ---> SIP Trunks ---> Carrier Managed Router ---> PRI Hand-off ----> E1/T1 board in Media GW w/LSP ---->...
Mother of God Kyle,
You are a priceless treasure on this site!! Thank you VERY Much for shedding some much needed light on this for me!
This info will definitely help us (me) better understand what we're looking at and make a better informed decision.
Thank you again!!!
Hello All,
I have a question on the Equinox platform with regards to just service impact and redundancy. (Buckle in..) :)
So, I have a small remote site that is targeted to be migrated to our core CM, away from a smaller legacy stand-alone PBX.
The remote location has a G430, and supports...
Gm All!
To answer both questions:
- The phone(s) are 9641G's and 9611's.
- And I just checked my own 9641 and found that the MWI Served User Type is Blank.
So, I'm going to change that now and see if that will solve the issue.
Thank you!! I'll report back with results!
Hi All,
Is there any threads here that discuss Voice Mail Indicator Light Delays with "Off-Site" IP phones registered to a remote core?
I have an IP phone, that is based in a remote office that's registered straight over the LAN/WAN to our core PBX. (No onsite Gateway)
When a voice mail is...
@joe2938: Yes, I thought that would do the trick as well. Like it shows for Avaya OneX Communicator licenses, or EC500 licenses.
But unfortunately, it does not. I was just hoping there would be a new single entry command that would display users with an Equinox profile/ID/etc.. like 'list...
Hi all!
I don't suppose anyone would know if there's a "Display Capacity" style of command or a "List xxx" command in CM/ASM/Anywhere that would detail the number of existing Avaya Equinox licenses/total counts/ used/available?
@Wanebo:
"Many Mom and Pop local telephone service companies simply can't port out numbers. Make sure that your SIP provider has a point of presence at the remote site also. You need to make sure the network connection between the remote site and the core CM is sized correctly for the increased...
Hey All,
I would like to know:
Can I take a group of end users on a legacy (Stand alone)system,
Decommission said Legacy system,
Change their existing DID numbers over to SIP DID's,
Point them to our new Core PBX in another State,
And set them up on Avaya Equinox "WITHOUT" the use of any...
Hi All,
Please bear with me as I am relatively new to my role here. But I was just asked to try and run a report to determine why a number of calls appeared as abandoned in our customer service dept. How could I determine the root cause? Is that a CMS function?, something I can trace out in...
