I'd like to send calls that don't answer after a certain set time from a hunt group to the auto attendant? The backup destination doesn't give me the option for auto attendant.
Thanks! You guys always come through.
Thanks guys for all the information. Here is how the main Avaya unit is labeled:
DS (1-8) - pretty sure our 9508 devices plugged into this module.
Phone (1-2) - I don't have the tools to test, but think #2 is our fax line?
PRI
I tried plugging a RJ-11 from the fax to Phone #2, but no dial...
Our fax line is designated to an analog extension Module BP2 and Port 1. I assume the fax line plugs directly into this port and goes to the fax machine, so how should this port be labeled on the Avaya hardware? I don't see a module labeled BP2 or a port labeled 1.
Thanks that is very helpful.
If they have a voicemail and no call forwarding is enabled, it will keep ringing?
Also, it looks like by default all our extensions go to 199 for call forwarding, is that the voicemail?
Looking at SV8100 program 47-02. If we need a phone to continue ringing and never go to voicemail, is this accomplished by not assigning an Inmail extension?

Belevedere,
Thanks for the fast response. Users that don't have to select the line do not have that checked, and checking that has not changed the problem user.
Any other suggestions?
We have one extension in our SV8100 NEC system that has to select the line after the call is picked up.
I was hoping somebody knew where this is configured?

Okay, I added the extension to 22-04 and it's ringing now. I don't understand how the other phones ring, but they are not in 22-04, there are only 3 extensions in that group now, but many phones ring.
We have one extension on our PRI that displays the blinking light on line 1, but it doesn't ring or show the number on the display. Where do you go to make this extension ring on all incoming calls?
I have 16-02 assigned the extension that isn't ringing to the same as others that do ring.
Hello, Group:
Added a few extensions, all is well, but the first couple lines are not lighting up like the rest of the phones. We have 5 lines, and on the phones it works they all light up, but these new lines are only displaying lines 4 and 5.

I see that port 31 is connected to our paging system, but where in the NEC UI do you specify what port to use for paging?
Port 31 is left blank, so it's not connected to any extension, but can't find that anywhere else.
SV8100.
Thanks!
