Auto Attendant after ringing hunt group

I created a new time profile and added it to the fallback. This has accomplished what is required. Thanks.

Auto Attendant after ringing hunt group

Okay, I found the short code for AA 3407, entered that into the fallback, but the hunt group continues to ring. I'll continue to look. Thanks.

Auto Attendant after ringing hunt group

I'd like to send calls that don't answer after a certain set time from a hunt group to the auto attendant? The backup destination doesn't give me the option for auto attendant. Thanks! You guys always come through.

Locating fax from IP Office configuration on IP 500V2

Used an analog phone and found the dial tone. I guess BP2 points to Phone - 1. Thanks for the help.

Locating fax from IP Office configuration on IP 500V2

Thanks guys for all the information. Here is how the main Avaya unit is labeled: DS (1-8) - pretty sure our 9508 devices plugged into this module. Phone (1-2) - I don't have the tools to test, but think #2 is our fax line? PRI I tried plugging a RJ-11 from the fax to Phone #2, but no dial...

Locating fax from IP Office configuration on IP 500V2

Our fax line is designated to an analog extension Module BP2 and Port 1. I assume the fax line plugs directly into this port and goes to the fax machine, so how should this port be labeled on the Avaya hardware? I don't see a module labeled BP2 or a port labeled 1.

    Voicemail or InMail

Thanks that is very helpful. If they have a voicemail and no call forwarding is enabled, it will keep ringing? Also, it looks like by default all our extensions go to 199 for call forwarding, is that the voicemail?

    Voicemail or InMail

Looking at SV8100 program 47-02. If we need a phone to continue ringing and never go to voicemail, is this accomplished by not assigning an Inmail extension? --tj

Extension handset picked up, but has to press line.

Belevedere, Thank you for the tip.

Extension handset picked up, but has to press line.

Sorry, guys. Overlooked the obvious. Extension was not assigned in 22-04. Too many phones going off in the same room to discern the rings.

Extension handset picked up, but has to press line.

Possible a mis-configured handset? Those boxes are already checked.

Extension handset picked up, but has to press line.

Belevedere, Thanks for the fast response. Users that don't have to select the line do not have that checked, and checking that has not changed the problem user. Any other suggestions?

Extension handset picked up, but has to press line.

We have one extension in our SV8100 NEC system that has to select the line after the call is picked up. I was hoping somebody knew where this is configured? --jp

    SV8100 PRI incoming call extensions

Okay, I added the extension to 22-04 and it's ringing now. I don't understand how the other phones ring, but they are not in 22-04, there are only 3 extensions in that group now, but many phones ring.

    SV8100 PRI incoming call extensions

We have one extension on our PRI that displays the blinking light on line 1, but it doesn't ring or show the number on the display. Where do you go to make this extension ring on all incoming calls? I have 16-02 assigned the extension that isn't ringing to the same as others that do ring.

NEC SV8100 - Lines not lighting up for some.

I guess you need only update 15-07

NEC SV8100 - Lines not lighting up for some.

Fixed it by modifying the following programs: 15-20 and 15-07 to match that of the users' that are working. Thanks.

NEC SV8100 - Lines not lighting up for some.

Hello, Group: Added a few extensions, all is well, but the first couple lines are not lighting up like the rest of the phones. We have 5 lines, and on the phones it works they all light up, but these new lines are only displaying lines 4 and 5. --tj

    Paging system.

I see that port 31 is connected to our paging system, but where in the NEC UI do you specify what port to use for paging? Port 31 is left blank, so it's not connected to any extension, but can't find that anywhere else. SV8100. Thanks!
