When I go into the Outlook Web App, navigate to "People/Contacts", then try and view the Default Global Address List, it is telling me to "Use search to see relevant results". This also happens when I choose "All Users" from the folder list.
When I click on "All Rooms", "All Distribution...
Hello -
I'm using a Windows 11 Pro workstation and Windows Server 2022 Standard. I have a GPO that maps a network drive to a share on the server. I can go to the S: drive and create files by right-clicking and choosing New text file for example. I can make changes to the file, and delete.
The...
Hi
We have a problem right now with split checks and discounting. We have discounts set so they can only be used once (Reset Itemizer). The problem is when it comes time to split checks.
For example,
Check 1001 has the following items:
Wings $10
Beer $5
50% Discount $7.50
If I split the...
Hello,
I have a few items set up in the system that have an inclusive tax type where the tax is included in the price. Everything works fine until i apply a tax exempted tender to the transaction. Here is an example:
We'll say tax is 10% included
Transaction 1:
Item is rung up for $1.00
Cash...
I have a table that contains a list of products. One of the columns contains a product number (it is not an identity column). I would like to create a stored proc that will give me all available product numbers inside a range. So for example, my table may have 10 records and the barcode numbers...
Sounds like you need to increase the baud rate for the serial connection. Do you know how to get into the hardware config on the WS4? (Top left, right, left corners, enter access code, etc....) .. Once in the menu, go do configuration, then EXT/IDN .. Select 38400 for the baud rate (it's likely...
Anyone know where I could acquire a demo version of Aloha along with some API/Interface documentation? Looking to see if I could implement a loyalty & gift card program I wrote.
Just wanted to start a new thread on this since the topic keeps coming up, and let folks know that there is not presently a way to decrypt an ISL file in micros. I've been working with micros for over 20 years and have not seen any successful way of doing it without reaching out to Oracle/micros...

You're better off using the totals table for that info. Unless you are looking for actual check detail, i don't think you need to look at these tables. Another advantage to using the totals table is that the data purge is controlled by the system setup, as opposed to the detail tables where it...
Hi.
In our 9700 system we have multiple discounts defined. Most are total-based discounts and very few Item-based discounts. I noticed that when we print our end shift report, that when an item-discount is applied, it deducted that amount from the major category group total. When we use a...
I am actually in the process of developing a product for micros that will accommodate this as well as a few other things. Should be completed within the next few weeks, not sure how soon you are looking to implement this.
i just downloaded the latest version of 3700 from oracle. Is it me, or did they remove the demo mode button from the control panel app? Is there any way to put it in demo mode? I just want to create a test lab for the ISL files i'm writing.
i'll have to take a look at the sql executable that comes with micros. That can be run from a command line and dumped into a text file, however, i'll have to play with it first. The logic is slightly different than straight sql.
Is your mymicros data hosted or do you have it onsite on a server? If it is hosted, then you may be out of luck. You could create a list of transactions with their totals and copy that into excel, or even a menu item report. If you have mymicros onsite on a server, i may be able to help...
