I am trying to figure a way to see what version some used 500v2 cabinets are "Locked at". I understand that once one call is made from a 500v2 cabinet that Software version is written to the Motherboard and the Cabinet is locked to version and a license must be purchased to go beyond that version.
Does anyone know how to tell what version a 500v2 is locked to. As in once the first call is placed that SW Version is hard coated to Motherboard and cannot be upgraded without a license. I have a few used cabinets that I cannot tell what version they may be. I also tried to view in monitor but...
I have an IP Office 8.1 (73)that the Device Type for the user changes to a 46XX type phone when it should be a 96XX phone.
