    Call forwarding problem

OK. this whole thing freaks me out, but here is a setup that works as I need: Weird thing is that it rings one time on 8027 then goes to cover, rings 3 times on 8227 and then goes to 9227 vm box... As I said, my customer does not want me change anything and leave it the way it is (all of...

    Call forwarding problem

OK, joe2938. I spoke today with the customer on x8227 and she all of a sudden decided that she is happy with the way it works right now :) You know how it is working with customers :) Now this problem has only academic meaning and I do not have any urgency any more. In case you are also...

    Call forwarding problem

Thank you, joe2938. I really appreciate your efforts. I was pretty sure I tried exactly these settings (both at the same time) and I am amazed, that it did work for you. I will definitely try it this evening. Thanks again and I am looking forward to try tonight.

    Call forwarding problem

I will try all of that this evening, just don't forget, you are not talking about current cov pa. I will change the vector to: rote-to number <Ext. 2> with cov "y" if "unconditionally" to run this experiment.

    Call forwarding problem

G van Hamburg, I think I tried this already, but I'll try again this evening. I am not able to play much with this setup during business hours and I am not able to have a simulating set up.

    Call forwarding problem

joe2938, no forwarding has been used. I created Cov. path 28 for x8027 where point1 is x8227 with 3 rings. Point2 is VDN 3003 with vector 5 that has a single line: messaging split <VM hunt group> for extension <Ext. 2> The result is on the pictures.

    Call forwarding problem

joe2938, That is clever idea and it should work, but it does not. Somehow it skips point1 of the Cov path and goes right away to the point2 that is VDN (means it goes right away to the Ext.2 VM). Oter words it works the same way I have it described in original post. :( OK, here is what I did...

    Call forwarding problem

DAVIDPAYNE In first case it will end up in vm box that belongs to Ext.1. In second - will ring indefinitely on Ext.2

    Call forwarding problem

joe2938, this is what I did: messaging split <VM hunt group> for extension <Ext. 2> except I have "split" instead of "skill" and I suppose this is the same command, right? So this solution directs call from Ext.1 directly to VM box of Ext.2. e.i. it does not ring on Ext.2 phone and that is my...

    Call forwarding problem

Thank you, joe2938, however it does not solve my problem. I need to forward Ext.1 to Ext.2 and if Ext.2 does not answer I need to direct call to Ext.2 voice mail box. It seems like a simple task, but I am not able to solve it somehow...

    Call forwarding problem

Avaya Aura 6.3 ASA. I am trying to accomplish a simple task but have no success no matter what I do :) I need to be able to forward customer's incoming calls to another extension and if it does not answer - to go to that second extension voice mail. It would be nice if the customer could have a...

How many seats do I have in Meet-me Conference?

thread690-1652463 Hey guys, how come I have "Maximum Number of Expanded Meet-me Conference Ports" - 0 in "display system-parameters customer-options" page 2, and I do not have "Maximum Ports per Expanded Meet-me Conf" parameter on page 7 of "FEATURE-RELATED SYSTEM PARAMETERS"... However Meet-me...
