Hi all,
I am looking for an older version of firmware for a Grandstream GXP2130, 1.0.5.33. I have a customer with a bunch of phones, and one needs to be replaced. This version of firmware still allows the park button to both park and pickup calls. Newer versions will only allow the parkpos_#...
Thanks sizbut, being still a pretty new user, I would not have touched the memory card options with a ten foot pole. My background is with an analog PBX system that we are retiring, and trying to get our customers to switch to Avaya. I'm learning as I go. Thanks to the help I've found here, I...
You folks are all awesome!!!! I've fixed it and am up and running. My problem was trusting my tech to convert the file properly. He converted it alright. It came back to me as a wav file, but with the attributes of the .c711 file. I went back to my original file, used AVS4U software to...
Wow, sounds good. We have a guy in the office that likes making stuff like that. I think we will be going that route, without telling the customer, and see how it goes. and yes, Derfloh, the file is on the sd card and you can see it in embedded file management. It just doesn't play.
Sounds like a plan Amriddle. Okkie, the problem is the customer paid a professional voice company to record the aa greeting. I don't want to have to refund what they paid!
Thank you all. Amriddle, I got this to work fairly easily a few months ago, so I know it can be done, but I just can't figure out what's wrong this time.
Okkie, thanks for being so specific. It makes it easier to follow the advice if I know just what to look for.
Budbyrd, thanks for the...
Thanks all! Amriddle, I did see your picture, the recording name was wgtloss. That is the same name I put in the recording name under menu options. wgtloss
Sorry Okkie, thought I'd answered your last question, must have forgotten to submit post. This is a medical office dealing with losing weight. The file name is wgtloss, as well as the name of the auto attendent. It is less than the 8 character max, so I don't think the name is bad.
Thanks for trying to help with this. It's been driving me bughouse since last week. The customer is starting to get really annoyed at the delay. I just don't know what else to try.
My original file when viewed in Sound Recorder is
Bit Rate 64bps
Audio Sample size 8 bit
Channels 1 (mono)
Audio Sample Rate 8kHz
Audio format CCITT u-law
I change the format to PCM, Attributes 8.000 kHz, 16 Bit, Mono it shows 15kb/sec
I was having trouble with the LVM Utility, so I sent...
Thanks Okkie26, I've done that. Both by choosing the option in the file menu, and by unplugging the power from the system. Still hear dead air. I even set up a short code, 297, to try to listen to the greeting, but I get a busy signal. Any other ideas?
I am working on an IP Office Embedded Voicemail system at 9.1.4. I am trying to load a prerecorded greeting to the Auto Attendant. There is only one Auto Attendant on the system. I have the wav file, which was converted using the LVM Utility to the g711 file. I upload it on the system sd...
