So what I did was to align the Major Groups, Family Groups and Delete Menu Items from the master. This way all restaurants are separated by menu items but not by groups. MikeM

I just added MyMicros to our second restaurant and the menu items/themes are completely different. Can I create two completely different Master Item Lists and align Master 1 to Restaurant 1 and Master 2 to Restaurant 2? THX Mike

Just a follow up. Carbonite backup was running throughout the day. I modified its setting to backup during the early morning hours. The 'Timeout' issues have stopped. MikeM
