Windows Server 2003 Unable to Share?

I just set up a 2003 server and it was mindboggling. Check to see if you set permissions on the security tab of the share folder. Permissions must be set two places on the share folder - on the share tab and the security tab. Let me know if it works. [pc3]

Need a utility for IP addresses

I keep running into IP address conflict. We assigned static IP's to each piece of equipment on the network but somehow they get dropped. Does anyone have a utility that can track all the used IP addresses on a network? [cry]

    Users Rights

Beaghler, I must apoligize. I didn't pose the question properly. The question should be: Is there a way to print out all the users rights in Novell instead of viewing them one at a time? This way I can have a list when I re-enter the user rights in Server 2000. [hammer]

We are migrating to MIcrosoft Windows 2000 Server. Is there a way to obtain all users rights at once or do I have to do it individually? I have approximately 60 users and it would be time consuming to do each one individually. HELP!!! [cry]

When calculating the age from the birthdate field and the Date()function, the age rounds up or down, as appropriate. (When the decimal place is set to "0") How can I make the age field truncate every number to the right of the decimal instead of rounding up or down, so it shows the age...

    Access permissions

I figured out what I was doing wrong. I forgot about the "full data users" group they were members of. I deleted the rights of the FDU and it solved the problem. Sometimes it is good when you really want an answer fast. It makes you work harder in finding a solution.

Leading zero's are dropped during export

You did not state where it was being exported to. If you are exporting to Excel, Excel always drops off the leading zero's. What you can try is putting an apostrophe at the beginning of the value before exporting.

    Access permissions

Access 2000 - I created groups, assigned permissions to them, created users and assigned them to groups. I can log the individual user into the database with no problem. The problem is that even though I did not grant them permission to access certain objects, they still can. (I did not assign...
