What's up folks. I need a bit of help with a new ASA5525. I want to configure SSH access which seems very simple but I can't get it to work.
I followed a guide I found on the Cisco website (link below) but when I test the connection it fails and the ASA log shows the following entry.

Hi Folks,
This may be a daft question but I need to understand how resources are shared on an IP Office using Digital handsets and analogue lines only, so no VoIP. I have only used IPO with T1 or SIP trunks and IP handsets so am familiar with how stations use trunks in an IP environment...
Thanks fellas. I managed to get the IP address using the older version of Wireshark. ....the new version didn't seem to work for me.
Thanks again fro the suggestions.
Hi there,
I have an IP Office unit that is not connected to the LAN or WAN and would like to gain access to it to manage it. It has been set up to use all Digital handsets and analogue lines so there are currently no VoIP connections so no web and/or Manager access. I need to access the PBX...
Turns out that DNS was running after all. I disabled the DNS service, rebooted the server and voila! Voicemail started working again. Thanks everybody for your help and suggestions.
Hey guys,
I'm working through several core technologies (T1/E1/ISDN + Frame-relay switching) in my home lab and an going mad trying to understand what's going on with some of my connections. The topology is fairly simple with 4 routers (3 routers connected to a 4th router acting as a...
I just ran netstat -a on the VM Pro Server notice the following:
There are two active connections between the VM Pro Server (10.248.42.253) and the IPO (10.248.42.2)

It looks like the netshell command to exclude the ports is unsupported. The only options after add (netsh interface add ....) is as follows:

The following commands are available:

amriddle, when you say "it's not supported on an SBS server" do you mean the hotfix is not supported or that VoicemailPro server isn't supported on an SBS server?
So what happens when you access the voicemail server with the Voicemail Pro client? What appears on the Help | About menu."
I can log in no problem, and my scripts are there. I can't see any users when I am logged in though (see attached image). .....and a pic of the help -> about screen...
Thanks guys. The server does not run DNS or DHCP and the IP addresses are still in tact. *17 and *90 just give 486 busy and no announcements. I had a look at the Windows firewall and can see the vmprov5svc is in the allowed list.
Hi Folks,
One of my clients has an IP Office 500v2 (R9.1) with Voicemail Pro server (9.1) and all of a sudden their AA and all voicemails stopped working. The PBX and server have IP connectivity, and Manager, VM Pro and other tools are installed on the same server (Windows 2003). All the...
Unfortunately the preference statement did not help so I used incoming called number (as follows). Dial-peer 80 is now matched but the call still fails.
dial-peer voice 80 voip
incoming called-number 441222....
voice-class codec 1
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:162.255.216.54...
So I changed the dial peers from 6221 to 80 and 6222 to 85 and it still looks like dial peer 90 is being matched. Not sure where to go from here. See debugs below.

Here's the output as requested. I have highlighted the call I made. The other entries are from a call already in progress. Thanks for your help so far.

So I had a chat with the PBX maintainer and he made a change so that I now see the called number. So the scenario is I am calling 5552226245 to access the mail system. That call should initially hit PBX2, which will route the call via SIP to the VG. From there, the VG needs to send the call to...
