    Great fneily,,that seems to be what I need... however, is there a way to get rid of the "frame" look to it... so that it appears to be typing on the page instead of in a box? thank you so much...

    Yes... I did lock it... it seems that locking it simply makes it so that you cant type anywhere except into a text box... but the text box still bumped everything down the page... thanks for taking the time to try to help. Anyone have other ideas?...
