Can someone explain ActiveX Control in simple terms? Frankly, When I go to certain web sites, I have to click on flash buttons, or some other effect once to start the effect. Is there any way to get around this?...is it required?... I dont care for it at all....

Thank you... I understand some of it now....
I am building this site.. The Buttons are my concern...
But if I may ask... what code do I need to
put in to bypass the ActiveX?... I dont want everyone to have to click to actvate and then click again to navigate...

I assume you're using Flash for Navigation and other items then?
If so, take a look at DeConcept's website for one way to embed flash dynamically.

I have already read this...and I understand some of it..some of it, I don't. So once more, if my flash is named Starlight.swf, should this work in the body part of the code?

The only things you'd need to change are in the call to execute the SWFObject code... you'd want to set the movie name (Starlight.swf), an ID for the movie (mymovie), the width and height (in that order), required player version, and the background color for the movie. All other code should stay the same unless you change the name of the Javascript or surrounding DIV tag.

I copied the code just like you have it....
It's giving a error messge...
"SWFObject is undefined"
