You can do a complete call trace using MST tool in CM. Im not sure if you have the rights to run it. But I'm sure all the messages (ISDN or SIP), including the digits is captured in MST traces.
on SAT form or ASA, run -
- "change mst"
- enable mst logger and necessary options
- "enable mst"...
You can setup a direct SIP trunk (tls/tcp) between CM and SM.

Check the Network Regions. The endpoint should always take the DSP resources from the local Media Gateway. So the endpoint and MG should ideally be in the same NR. You can map the endpoint to the particular NR using ip-network-mapping tables.
