Hi-

We are trying to trace some incoming calls(numbers) that are dead air - receptionist says they are 800 or similar numbers.

However - the receptionist cannot see them fast enough - not sure if they are answering too fast?
The story is that the number flashes on the softconsole and disappears and no one is on the call.

Tried this below(bold - are we only being sent 4 digits-DNIS?) but am not seeing the numbers on our 800 - incoming trunk?
Is this possible to trace in Site Admin and get all digits?
Usually come up on our phone LED on our stations since we have caller ID I believe...?

Hi-

Can anyone give us any clues?
We'd just like to get more info about calls coming in on our T1 - is it possible to see the incoming digits or not?

I know we can see dialed/ARS digits going out but have never gotten any info on incoming digit/DNIS or anything related to the incoming number.
And we know about trunks via inc-call-handling-trmt - but, we are wondering about random/unknown customer numbers.
Are there any logs in the Avaya that may help us diagnose further?

Thanks or any help.

You can do a complete call trace using MST tool in CM. Im not sure if you have the rights to run it. But I'm sure all the messages (ISDN or SIP), including the digits is captured in MST traces.

on SAT form or ASA, run -

- "change mst"
- enable mst logger and necessary options
- "enable mst"

capture the logs in /var/log/ecs.

Easier way - raise a ticket with Avaya.

Thanks Amalkraj - we'll try MST - if possible.
Appreciate the help.
