Thank you very much Westi.
I wanted to find where to set the screensaver timer as well as the image on the 9608 telephones.
If I modify the:
SET SCREENSAVERON 240
SET SCREENSAVER 96xxiposs.jpg
Create a image 320x160 and name it 96xxiposs.jpg
How does the 9608 phone know where to pull this data
I am new to Avaya and I am needing to know how to access the 46xxx=settings.txt
I have a TFTP service running on my laptop but how do I get to the 46xxsettings?
I ahve looked on the Embedded SD card files and do not see it.
Go ahead and tell me this is IPO 101.
I have a client with a NCP 500 and I have one KX-NT343 working at a remote location over a VPN.
They currently have SonicWall TZ-200 routers at both ends with ping times around 40-50ms.
But they are experiencing call quality issues.
Any ideas?

If you have set *7311 on the set you should recieve Call Waiting on external calls. Software version 5 and up you can activate Call Waiting on extension calls as well.
Are the lines set to ring...
The Norstar MICS can be backed up. It requires a Norstar Fast Rad connected to a digital port. Then you need Norstar Remote Utilities ( version depends on your MICS version) installed on a computer.
