Well for me it is still a wait and see with eMetrotel. They are just to new and there are so many other solid companies with good systems like Avaya that have been around for a long time and have a proven name in the industry. This whole new SIP and IP thing reminds me of the days after...
Yes but business is business. If for some reason eMetrotel becomes a threat to them as far as competition is concerned they might go after them to drop them in their tracks. I am sure Avaya has a lot more legal resources than does eMetrotel does at this point.
I am impressed that this system can support several different manufacturers handsets. My questions is, how is this possible without ruffling the features of these companies, for example Avaya. I would think that they own the rights to these phones and the software that makes them work. I...
Yes, I agree and it breaks my heart when I have to think that my beloved Nortel is no more. But I have had some customer say "Oh I thought they were out of business" I a also concerned that if I bid for a project that my competitor will say something negative about my company still using...
most of my customers want me to record their AA greetings for the CCR. I wanted to be able to use a text to script voice proram to do this then DL the audio file into the CP or BCM voice mail. I have listened to several oneline "natural" voice readers but they still sound like a computer...
Since Avaya took over Nortel, I have heard of some vendors were able to get AVAYA sticker logos that are designed to be placed over the Nortel Norstar and Meridian logos on things like sets, KSU etc. to cover over the old Nortel logos. Has anyone done this or know how to get these permanant...
I have also changed the station line cord and moved it to a whole other jack and cable on the other side of the room and even to another port on the 66 block. Same thing happens.
I have a customer with an older MICS with about 40 M series sets installed. They are probably on 4.1 their NAM is 4.0. The system has been a real workhorse for over 15 years now. The only problem is when I took an M7324 and set up ANSWER DN for the recpt. DN. Every few months her set starts...
Now that you mention this I remember that as well. Iactually had two sets with SERVICES on them. This was only suppose to be the recpt. set and the other was a programming error so I had to take it out but both sais SERVICES ON at lunch time and then again at the end of the day.
Now I wonder...
I have two Recp. sets Ext-2200 and 2202 that are used as the recpt.. they are in two different parts of a large office. 2200 right now is the Control set that has a SERVICES button prrogrammed so they can turn on and off the AA at any time. IS there a way to also have a SERVICES button on...
TelcoDog:
I thought that might be the case. I did try my own gmail account but it did not work.
I had thought that this was as simple as setting up a regular email account within my own email program.
What configs do I need to double check for gmail?
