Assuming you arre connecting directly to the speakers instead of an interface such as a V-2003 and you actually have an available analogue port...
Click on the Extension / Analogue tab and change the type of connection to Paging.
Confirm or create a User configured for that extension.

Even though the trunks are set to OOS, I belive the system will still try to select them for an outgoing call if they are in group 1. Make sure the line group for each line is set to 0 or some other number not used in the dial plan.
Customer was on R7 with VM Pro.
Swapped out IP500v2 for a v2a.
Upgraded to 11.0.4.4 via PLDS with new LAC and IPOSS.
But IPOSS won't kick in until sometime in December so I'm asking here for help.
Two error messages, neither seems to be service affecting but do I need to actually do something...
Unless my memory is fubar, IPO will not transfer / bridge an incoming call to an outside number through an auto-attendant when the trunks are analog.
Has anyone got a work-around? Or am I missing something in the configuration to make it work?
System is R11.1
TIA
IP endpoints are 1/2 price for migrations. At least that's what my distributor has been charging me.
And there are several other licenses that are 1/2 price for migration - CTI for one.
As to budbyrd's post, I'm pretty sure you cannot get IPOSS unless the system is at R10 due to Avaya's lack of...
I was schedule to perform an upgrade last week.
I did not attempt to follow through and complete it due to the what I saw in the attached pictures.

Recently activated vm to email on a 10.1 system.
Works as expected except the subject in the email is in Russian.
Visual voice is English, voice prompts are English as well.
Where do I look to correct this?
Thanks
Turn on SMTP logging in voicemail pro. The system will generate a telnet report that is easier to read than the monitor trace.
Most trouble I've seen with v-email with VMpro is due to SSL / TLS.
IMO, your best bet is to have the IT people setup a server relay instead of connecting direct to O365.
The book says no more than a 1 level difference between releases. So the main office on R7 is probably the issue. Upgrade it to 8.1 or 9 and you should be fine.
Customer has a 406v2 running 5.0 software with VMPro.
VMPro was running on an XP box and the customer upgraded to Win7.
Now the box is showing BSOD periodically and we installed a new box with Win7Pro.
Installed software from scratch. Copied VM directories to new box.
Fired it up. It works...
It depends. Each location is still stand-alone. Phone numbers, extensions, etc. But with SCN, you could route all inbound / outbound calls through one site. I wouldn't recommend it, but you do have the option.
