I'm planning to set up 1mbps dedicated point to point line, this would be used as DB transaction as well, thats why i wanna know whats the typical bandwidth usage for 4 channel simultaneously. There will be 3 sites site A is the head office and the rest the branch.
Ok so I would need IP gateway card for both PBX, also I only need the dsp 16 just for the TDE system not TDA, right?
Do i need to set up vpn for this goal? What is the typical bandwidth needed for 4 IP channel working simultaneously?
Thanks in advance.
@cwc3: whats BNA?
Thanks for your answer.
I wanna confirm, Can TDA200 and TDE200 connected with each other for VoIP without upgrading the MPR card of TDA200 to IPCMPR? If so, I must be careful. Seems like I'm close to being ripped off.
Hi,
I would like to get voip feature so I can build pbx to pbx network intented for call center function. This way I can reroute call to site B to site A, if the operator in the site B is busy or the call goes unanswered. This way, the incoming call can be pick up by the employee in site A...
Thanks for your help. I was so focus on looking at the top three setting options on the maintenance console. I didn't expect the setting related to the lcot card to trunk group would be placed at 10th setting option.
Hi Obtsystem,
This may be off topic but I was wondering how I can define certain slot in LCOT can be assigned into trunk group. I have no idea. Please help me.
Hi, thank for the reply.
Are saying that eventhough someone can seized the line through co button, ars can still enforce certain prefix to be accessibke to certain co line?
Hi Guys, I have Panasonic KX TDA200, I have just subscribe 2 land lines from another carrier, so currently I have 2 carriers connected to my pbx. The purpose of the other carrier (say carrier A) is because the have low cost rate to long distance and mobile phone call. However this carrier A have...
Hi LkEErie,
LOL I live in Indonesia so dialling codes aren't the same with us or uk. I just put zero cause most of dialling codes start with 0, but thats just off the top of my head. Otherwise I don't need to restrict asterisk, hash and 11 ,do i?
Hi LkEErie, you said, "We set up TRS to screen for first digit * and # and 11 because you can beat TRS with those digits."
DO you mean that if i dont restrict asterisk key & hash key and 11, TRS may be hacked? why?
Yeah, I have learned the hard way. The problem wasn't with the pabx to begin with. LOL. Thank for your help, LkEErie. obtsystems too.
So I have restricted calls with TRS anything start with number 0. Is this enough? Is it possible that someone can hack the TRS?
Hello guys,
just wanna report back. I found the problem. It has nothing to do with the pabx machine. Turned out that our workplace put some kind of another device that prevent international and mobile call blocked. This device is put between telephone cable from telco to pabx. LOL
@obtsystems:
"Dial Digit limitation after answering is on inbound calls, and stops someone using a ringback service and dialing out on it."
Hmm.. I havent tried whether I get cut off when I answer inncoming calls, I'll report back to you tomorrow. However, I know for sure this "cut off" problem...
@LkEErie : So it's gotta be the COS? and it's also related to TRS right?
I'm rereading the manual again.
I'll check it out, this is hard because i wasn't the one who set it up. I wish I can just wipe it clean, and you can't imagine how messy the cabling running from the mdf box to each splitted...
@LkEErie: Your guess was right. I tried to call outside number and press 1, I got cut off right away. How do i fix this?
@obtsystems : what do you suggest i should do?
Hi all thanks for replying. Please bear with me.
@obtsystems: i will reply back to you when i go to work tomorrow.
@ LkEErie: i think your guess maybe right. Because when we installed the tda200, our management put restriction to long distance call and we restrict call to mobile phone number...
