Is anyone using this with Macola? I will be retiring in a few year and trying to find automated ways to replace my analysis fuction.
Thanks

Running Progression 7.6.2 and CRystal 11
After the upgrade, everytime I run a Crystal report I have to key the password for the System Admin. Macola support tried several things, and say they have seen this before and the only thing that works is to upgrade to Crystal 2011. The reports runs...
If you are talking about your inventory item that you sell base pricing, it is found in the Inventory location file...default pricing on the first page
progression 7.9.1
For one user will not post ...this is the back up person who does not use it daily....mostly all the time now. See attachment for notes plus Macola support suggestions. Thanks in advance...
GEEZ I don't have time to figure out this...so you are saying that the letter we got to stay with our existing support, we should do or we have no options in the future. We are still on progression, but if we have to totally change everything we may just go with another software totally...
Has anyone had problems opening Progression since Window 10 update to version 1803?
We get a user/password invalid combo, yet on another Win7 PC the user can log in ok.
Thanks
FYI to all
I did not know that you had to load office 32bit only in order for the ICR reports to run. Not sure what else might be affected, but I was told by support that no version of 64bit will run with Progression.

So what would be the process to convert. Will this require a business partner install, conversion of files, etc? What if you have tables you have created through SQL? I guess I am tying to figure out an estimate of the "additional costs". Thanks
We us MS Visual Studio 2008 to create SQL reports. We current print labels using this. I need a label with a code 39 barcode and the customer logo. How would I do this...or is it even possible.
Thanks
Donna
Everything totally changes...so re-training will be necessary. If we have to go that route, we will probably go with Quickbooks. Macola has always been overkill for what we needed. When we were sold the first time we were eligible for grants to help the new company and we had no computer...
We are not going to upgrade to Macola 10. I am wondering, if anyone has thoughts on how long do you think the life of 7.6.8 will be. I am trying to decide whether to continue Maintenance and Support...or just cancel and go with my business partner's per incident support.
Thanks
Donna
You should also have MABM running according to this...the new product does not replace, just enhances. They also suggest NOT INSTALLING in a production environment

I read in the 7.8.6 supported platforms that windows 10 is now supported.
If I upgrade computers to Windows 10, what can I expect to see related to Progression 7.8.6
We are still running Microsoft Server 2008 R2 (which is unchecked) and Microsoft SQL Server 2008
that is still checked??
Thanks...
