Macola 7.6.8 Life Expectancy

We are not going to upgrade to Macola 10. I am wondering, if anyone has thoughts on how long do you think the life of 7.6.8 will be. I am trying to decide whether to continue Maintenance and Support...or just cancel and go with my business partner's per incident support.

At least a couple of years. Just out of curiousity why did decide not to go to Macola 10?

Everything totally changes...so re-training will be necessary. If we have to go that route, we will probably go with Quickbooks. Macola has always been overkill for what we needed. When we were sold the first time we were eligible for grants to help the new company and we had no computer software or hardware. that went away with the company. We went with Macola based on those recomendations...it has worked well, but we use very little of the features. Most want to keep their spreadsheets and I am tired fighting it.

The only thing that changes is AR, AP and GL. I understand the spreadsheet fight, but you'll still be fighting that fight regardless if you go to quickbooks or not. You ought to be good for a couple of years on Progression though.
