I have an issue with one way audio that maybe someone has come across before.. I have IP networking between two 3300s sites which works ok internally calls go across and all is ok, two way audio, until an external SIP call comes in and goes across the IP networking to a user on the other system...
I'm going to upgrade the system this week.
I tried the Bria from counterpath but couldn't get the push servers to work, and the support from them was bad. I might try them again one the system is upgraded.
Can anyone recommend a good SIP client which works with the Mitel 3300.. I'm using ground-wire Acrobits,, and internally it works good, but when making an external calls via SIP trunks, Gamma rejects the call as the header is not correct. The Mitel 3300 is on MCD release 6 and I don't know if...
is there any specific logic to how the mitel telephone directory displays names/numbers when searching a name from a desk phone.
i.e. say a user has a desk phone 313 and a soft phone 6313,both with the same name against them. However, the customer doesn’t like that when searching the tel...

003 is the time to answer by...
Found it in the end
Its voicemail ports, my main concern was why it was getting answered by VM, but its a hotel room thats experieincing nuisance calls during the night, and I think they left the phone off the hook all night and the call followed the extn's first alternative to VM
Thanks...
Could anyone please provide information about what happened in these Internal SMDR logs.. I understand the bit where x322 has called x111, but what I don't understand is the I 865... I know the "I" stands for internal, but what has 865 to do with the call ?
10/10 08:34 00:00:48 322 003 111...
But there isn’t a network, there is a 3300 connected via one of the LAN ports to the cisco 877 which in turn is connected to the internet via the ADSL port.. The public IP Address is a Gammas SIP Server and I can probably assure that it’s not Gamma server that has the problem as they have...
There is no firewall, there is only a cisco 877 router connected to a adsl. The cisco router just permits everything from the gamma server IP address regardless of port numbers..
The cisco route has also been changed out…
Gamma SIP server, but this is the 2nd controller and I have also swapped out the cisco router and still get the packet drops. The business DSL has also been tested by BT and its ok.
Here's something I found on the forums (detailed below) which may help you and it does work.. Try routing the call through an ACD path as detailed below
Here's how you do it:
For NuPoint Routing
When routing from say a group to an extn that has a call forward always or 1st alternative to the...
Does anyone know why we constantly get these maintenance logs for dropped packets, there is no IP phones on the system except the switchboard and just the SIP for outgoing calls. The customer is complaining of calls breaking up on both incoming and outgoing, but the incoming are via the ISDN...
Is there anywhere on the mitel 3300 release MCD 6.1 where I can upload a professional recorded name wav file to a mailbox name field on the embedded voicemail. I know you cant do it via the MOH file upload as it only allows the greeting field upload, but can I FTP a wav file into the system...
It is a single line as it only resides as a key on one phone. If I program the same key number on another phone, (a dummy EXTN for instance) then it changes to a multicall key, which means then I can then delete the key from the origonal phone, but now its back on the Dummy Extn as a single line...
