after connecting to the server using nslookup - 8.8.8.8
type:
set q=all
www.sss.org
then run nslookup to your server
Do the same thing
post both sets of results

If you run nslookup from a cmd prompt do you connect to the dns of the domain controller that you are trying to validat against.

You can do a it a number of ways, assuming you know the ip address of the web server that hosts you web site. Use DNS manager to create a new A record,
Open DNS Manager
Expand the list until you seee your domain name
Double click server name followed by Forward lookup zones.

It sounds like your sonicwalls are not passing all the TCP ports required, UDP ports 135 - 139 , TCP ports 135 - 139 also TCP & UDP port 445
Your machine issue may be something unconnected.

This is just a thought but could you not subdomain your domain and have the subdomain point to you old server. Then redirect links from your web site to the subdomain.
instead of
www.network-security.uk.net pointing to server A
www2.networksecurity.uk.net points to server A
&...
Not sure if this will help, but it will tell you which computer is the browse master
