Can't See Entire Network...

First my appologies as this question may fall into several different categories, but here goes..

We have a Windows 2003 domain consisting of 2 domain controllers (1 primary,1 secondary) and maybe 10 connected workstations. 8 of these are within the same subnet as the domain controllers (10.16.2.x) and two are in a separate subnet (10.16.1.x) these two machines connct to the domain through a VPN connection between two sonicwall gateways. for the most part everything seems fine. All machines can access printers and shares located on any of the machines in the domain; however, when browsing computers from My Network Places>Entire Network>Microsoft Windows Network, only the machines in the same subnet as the domain controller are visible--even more strange is that this is still the case even when browsing on a mchine that is at the remote location--I would have logically thought that these machines would only see the machines in their subnet. I realize that in and of itself because the machines can still communicate in other ways this is not such a big deal, but I also tend to be one who believes that a small issue such as this could be a sign of a beigger issue that we just have not yet uncovered. Our Domain Controller has DNS with both forward and reverse lookup zones configured and also has WINS set up. Another odd side note is for example when I log onto my own machine--keeping in mind that my user has full adminitrator and Domain Admin rights, if I browse the Entire Network first I only have the option of Microsoft Windows Network and if I browse the network from here I can only see the Domain controller and a virtual machine that is running on the domain controller whereas if I log on as the domain Administrator when I browse Entire network I have Microsoft Windows Network, Microsoft Terminal Services, and Web Client, and when I browse the MS Windows Netowrk I can again see all of the machines within the same subnet, but not those in the remote subnet.

So to me it seems like there could be permissions issues and most of the looking around I have done to this point indicated that there is some kind of Browser Issue going on in our network, but if anyone out there knows how to straighten this out, it would be much-appreciated...
 
It sounds like your sonicwalls are not passing all the TCP ports required, UDP ports 135 - 139 , TCP ports 135 - 139 also TCP & UDP port 445

Your machine issue may be something unconnected.
