We have a CallPilot 150, super simple setup...two greetings, one small tree.
I was trying to change our greeting tables before the holidays when I got a warning that our tree is incomplete, so no changes to the table would be saved. Sure enough, when I go to the Tree Admin screen, it says that...
First, many thanks for helping me sort through this! I appreciate your patience!
Are you saying that my main menu is not part of the CCR tree? because that's where I make changes to it. Here's the way it works:
The phone rings and is answered by the voice mail. The initial greeting says hi...
I'm not sure how else to explain it other than the way I explained it in the original post....if I hit # from the main menu, it works. If I go into the sub-menu ("if you know the name of ther person you are calling for, dial 3") and try to use the company directory from there ("for the compnay...
I've never seen a place to set any options for the # ...I thought that it was one of those things that is set by the system (# = company directory) and I have scoured all of the menus and see no reference to it anywhere. Can you tell me where to look? Thanks.
We have an odd problem with the company directory on our CallPilot 100...if a caller follows all the prompts ("if you know the name of the person you're calling for, press 3"...then, "for the company directory, press #") when they hit #, the system pauses for a sec, and then says, "exiting the...
Thanks -- I'm 99% sure we are using line filters because the restriction is identical for everyone in the building. I just can't find the override tables...I've been through the programming menus a bunch of times and they're totally eluding me.
Our Norstar MICS has always been restricted to local calls, and we use *68 when we need to call long distance. I'm almost certain we're using filter 01...my question is, how can I add an override for a new area code? The system thinks it's long distance so it won't let my user dial out.
I know...
I have a user who is currently in the Czech Republic and wants to call in and change a greeting. However, in Europe, he can use the * key, but if he dials ** it doesn't register. Does anyone know of any other way to get into the mailbox options without dialing ** ? We had a workaround that we...
Thanks -- I did try what they tried (creating a COS with a short retention time). I set it at one day, but after the weekend they were all still popping up. The crazy thing is, after the long weekend they appear to be gone. I don't know why they would purge in three days instead of the specified...
We just installed a refurb CallPilot 100 last week, and what seems to be happening is this: messages that were int he General Delivery mailbox from the previous owner (they are all timestamped Nov/Dec 2009) keep popping into our General Delivery mailbox. Our receptionist keeps deleting them...
KyBoy, I'm not at the office right now so I can't tell you exactly...what I do know is that it's a Norstar Modular ICS, purchased around 1993. And still kicking! We've never had problems with either unit until last weekend, no lie.
We can't afford to spend a lot to replace the Startalk, as all...
I've been looking around, and it seems that Startalk C units can still be found....would it be unwise to just go with another one (we've never had problems with it) or is there a newer system with similar specs (1300 minutes, 500 users) that would make more sense?
We have a 14 year old Startalk C (2.04) unit that is no longer responding following a power outage last weekend. F903 yields the dreaded "Inactive feature" message, no matter what I try. (**XFTEST, cleared the codes, rebooted, etc)
Is there anything else to try, or should I be shopping for a...
