Definitely upgrade to NW5.1 and apply sp3 before upgarading Groupwise. There are issues with 5.1 and GW6 (I experienced some GWIA problems) but most got fixed with the service pack. I've been running NW5.1 with GW5.5 sp4 for a while and Upgraded to 6 recently. Not too many problems lately...

I've seen it before and it was caused by a corrupt database. In my case it was a corrupt msg databse in my post office--I had to run GWCECK to fix it. Hope you have a good backup just in case. Also try renaming the wpcsin and out directory, reboot the server, and new ones should be created.

Has anyone played around with the Restore Management/Area feature of Groupwise 6? I'd like to find out any useful docs on how to implement it or if it even works well.
