Further to my question I think I have the answer (and with further application of google site search - why is this forum's search facility SO bad???). I have a BRIBE card as opposed to a PRIB card. I switched the CO line types to Normal with DISA and it all works well! Jon.

Turns out I was right. Only extra thing I had to do for some reason was after updating via PCADMIN to reset both boards and it all come up. Prior to that when accessing VMIB station display came up VMIB Busy - except there was no one else using the system at the time. Hope this helps someone. jon.
