Hi,

I am about to install a VMIBE card on our LDK100 (MPE v3.9) with ASMU1E.

I assume I need to do the following:
-Power off
-Insert in a free slot (there are 3 free)
-power up
-Log in with PCADMIN
-Set-up slot type to VMIB (PGM103)
-Assign slot to logical VMIB destination (PGM103)

Further to this check that the stations have access to VM in PGM113 and they are using VMIB slot 0 (only one card in frame)

anything else? Do I need to initialise the VMIBE card? How do I find out the software version of the VMIBE? Is it worth upgrading it if it is a low version?

Thanks in advance for your excellent help!

Jon.

Turns out I was right. Only extra thing I had to do for some reason was after updating via PCADMIN to reset both boards and it all come up. Prior to that when accessing VMIB station display came up VMIB Busy - except there was no one else using the system at the time.

Hope this helps someone.

In PGM101 set the slot to VMIB (board ID 61).
Check PGM103 that the board exists.
See if you can record a message for a user and the message waitning lamps blinks.
Listen to the quality og the message.
Make a back-up of your ipLDK system.
Case closed.
