I am looking for an IP Desk Phone that has some kind of API. Ideally a web API that allows for making and receiving calls (or at least the ability to query the phone status to see if a call is coming in).
I see that Cisco phones have an API. Do the Cisco's have the ability I'm looking for? Are...
So restarting it does stop it, but I have notice that it will come back when I am in the Voicemail Pro client.
I guess if I need to change something in the client, I will have to do it when the office is closed. Hopefully Avaya will come out with a fix for that.
Thanks everyone!
Shardian,
That seams to be my assessment as well. Only the extensions that have auto recording on have this problem.
Did you re-enable call recording after VM reboot or do you have another solution for recording calls?
Thanks.
I recently upgraded to IPO 8 and VMPRO 8. Since then people in my office have been noticing something weird. When every they are connected to a call, the "You have [N] new messages" plays at the beginning of the call.
It only happens something and eventually stops doing it.
Has anyone else...
I just upgraded to IP Office version 8 from version 5. Now my 5420 reception phone doesn't work. It says on the screen "Incompatible system" When I unplug the phone and plug it back in it just says "Please wait".
Do the 5420 phones not work IPO 8?
Thank you.
Thanks! I guess I will just stick with the Phone Manager telecommuter mode. This works just fine the only problem is my at home callers complain about how much longer it take to make a call.
Is there are way with the TAPI driver or something else to make it so that a remote user can plug an analog phone into their computers modem and get a line from the IP Office to make calls?
I'd like to do it this way instead of the Phone Manager program.
Thanks!
I was able to figure this out.
I set up a shortcode that goes to a Voicemail Pro module. From there I was able to build a call flow that recorded the calls and rings.
Currently the only way a call can be recorded is after a connection is made.
Is there a way that I can record a call as soon as I pick up the phone or at least as soon as it starts to dial?
Thank you.
