Also found that VMPro client (11.1.1000.103 / 11.1.1.0.0 build 103) does not work with prior software release 11.1.100.14 / 11.1.0.1.0 with the UCM. Haven't seen anything about this in the docs.. This software is defective
I experienced the same with IP Phones only SIP/H323 on this release. Digital phones as well as analog worked fine. Ended up downgrading back 1 version. The difference we had were analog lines, which start as Spectrum cable lines.
The only workaround I found was to conference the call, then it...
Has anyone had DTMF issues with this new release? I am having a problem where DTMF tones are not being recognized by remote IP + SIP phones over VPN. Have yet to try with an IP/SIP phone at the site where the system is. Admittedly these are analog lines converted from Spectrum cable. However...
Ha thanks guys, guess I should know better by now. Was just looking for some confirmation that Web Manager still needs work and if anyone else does the same dumb things trying to make the programming by the book. I'd rather get a consensus here rather than waist time reporting something that...
Not working how it's supposed to is the problem. It's crap like that that steal lots of time away troubleshooting after spending the time and money to sell it
Anyone run into the situation where IPO Manager shows Voicemail Type as Voicemail Pro on UC Module with the correct IP address, but Web Manager shows Voicemail Lite/Pro also with the correct IP address? However if changed in Web Manager to Voicemail Pro on UC Module, Voicemail Pro stops working...
Well got it working. Seems forwarding port 80 worked. However I had that pointing to the IPO before...I can't imagine setting up the SIP Registrar FQDN is what also did the fix though, but what do I know...
No longer "Loading contacts." All local Contacts are available now
Thanks everyone...
Ok, correct me if I'm wrong.
Went to Godaddy, setup a subdomain to point to the public IP address of the IPO. - Not sure if this was required, but seemed logical to get remote communication using name for seamless roaming.
In Manager, set SIP Domain Name in LAN interface to the domain -...
yeah I'm so unfamiliar with the concept of DNS in this setup. I don't know what the purpose of the public and private DNS involved and how they come into play here. I'm thinking if trying to access through the internet, I'll have to get a publicly accessible sub-domain to point to the public IP...
Just configure with a 2 at front of each extension (x210, x211, x212, etc...) and let them know to just get used to it. It'd be better for the AA config depending how many phones they have. Otherwise if they're bent on it, it will work fine
Okay, maybe that's what it is...
I only had SIP Domain Name entered, and not SIP Registrar FQDN. Looks like I'll have to study up to see how that works. I'm guessing I'll have to get a sub-domain pointed to the IPO??
Anyone run into an issue where Avaya Communicator - Telephony only (NO one-X Portal) successfully Loads Contacts when locally connected to the network, but does not load them when Remote? Just says Loading contacts...
Is this possibly a TCP/UDP port issue?
Everything else that's supposed to work...
I've found all mine in this location. Let me know if you find them there too...

Trying to figure out the best way to make voicemail pro 9.1.5 condition for 1st Saturday of every month. Have a Customer where they are open Monday thru Friday (closed for lunch) but also open only on the 1st Saturday of every month. Is there an easier way to do this without having to use the...
