I have setup about 8 5610sw IP phones on one of the Avaya systems we have. Because of VCM channel limits I want to put additional phones on a different system with availble VCM channels.
I am having trouble with this. the second system is a 500 series. After entering the correct IP info the...
I was wondering if it is because i have two routs for a number.
I have a call rout with a number from our provider in the incoming number field, CLI is blank, Destination is my extn.
When i dial that number from my cell it goes to my extn.
So then i created the second rout with my cell in the...
I have been using my cell to test. I have a phone number set to ring directly to my desk. I created a second rout for that DID with the my cell # in the CLI and pointed the destination to the fake user. The call came to my desk. I deleted that call rout and created one with nothing in the...
There are a couple of numbers that call into our system that i would like to block. I logged in to IP office manager and attepmted to do this with an incoming call rout.

Is there a way to use a custom recorded .wav file for the alert that plays when recording a call? Where would i go to change it?
Using VM pro 4.2
Thanks
How would I go about determining who (internally) forwarded an external call to an internal extension?
For example only cetian calls should be forwarded to a manager. I'd like to know what extension is transfering calls there.
Thanks
I'm looking at upgrading from a 406 v2 to a 500.
There are some licenses i would like to transfer if possible.
such as
VM Pro
Phone Manager Pro
VM Pro Recording Administrator
Wave user
CTI link pro
The licenses are on a dongle on the back of the 406 unit
How would i go about transfering them?
I see where you are going with this. Im just a little unsure. Do i need to put the users in hunt groups? How does the system know which ARS table to use for each user?
Right now there is a system short code
9N N Dial 50 - this will goto the default ARS
I hope my questions make sense...
I have two groups of people. I want each group's calls to display a differnt caller ID when dialing external calls.
I know this can be done via short code in the individual user config, using 9N NSxxxxxxx Dial 50. IS there an easier way?
Thanks
