I have fanvil phones on a UCX250. In the phones call log it is adding an extra 1 so they are unable to dial the number back. Was wondering how to fix that?
Looks like my options are try to get the school to upgrade their amp and install speakers in all of the classrooms, Do 2 pages for every announcement(one through the external speakers and one through the phones) or sell them a used Nortel MICS instead of the UCX250 system?
Well darn, any thoughts on this:
If I call the paging extension(analog port) and then conference in the paging group to add the phones. Can I program a button or make a speed dial that for does

I may have figured out a work around for this. If I call the paging extension(analog port) and then conference in the paging group to add the phones. Can I program a button or make a speed dial that for does
301(conf)630 with 301 being the analog port and 630 being the page group.

I would definitely be ok with that on page calls, especially in a school. You hear it all the time in places like a Walmart, grocery store etc because most PBXs have a built in page port and pages are pages.
Anyone able to help with this? I tried a mini and DTMF doesn't get passed through the page port either. Maybe I should just start selling schools on the good old reliable MICS.
I have a new UCX250 install for a school with zone paging through a Bogen PCM module. (Needs DTMF tones to select the zone or do all call) Everything works great with a SIP paging interface or an ATA. However when I do a group page so the page comes through the phone speakers and external page...
I think I have everything figured out except the ignore button and the caller ID issue. The phones are the Avaya 9508 phones that they previously had. I had to use my demo DSM card for this install because my distributor was short on cards so i can't test in the office.
I recently switched a customer over from IP Office to a UCX250 and there are a few things they are not liking.
1. When a parked call times out it rings back as a regular call instead of letting them know it was a parked call.
2. I was able to get rid of the beeping in the ear for call waiting...
Um yeah I need a link to documentation and to how this PRI works. Also wondering if I need a license? The document i am looking at is talking about Dahdi trunks and then making SIP trunks. Any PRI I have worked on is pretty basic and you just need to change a couple of settings. Or am I missing...
Hi there, new to the UCX world and am in the process of setting up a 250 with a PRI. Any documentation help I could get would be nice as there isn't a lot on the website.
First question is there are dip switches for E1 and T1. I am in Canada so I would assume the T1 setting will work for a PRI...
Wondering how I can make a ring group so that 2 exts can ring at the same time, then 12 seconds later have say 5 more exts ring at the same time. Next question is where does the no answer time get set for the ring group?
Hey there, brand new to the E-MetroTel world and have a UCX250 system with galaxy express and DSM16p to play with in the office. I have the IPs set up and licenses in and activated. I haven't been able to find a document that tells me how to get an Avaya 9500 series phone working. It is...
The system is probably 12 years old or better and wouldn't have had a software upgrade in at least 8 years. I have created a mailbox and i made them subscriber mailboxes in the Repartee.
