In a Cisco Router the command:
"no ip nat service sip udp port 5060"
can fix certain problems.
Tomorrow I'll check the config of our 5520 for you.
Have you tried disabling (temporarily) your access-list?
@tlpeter
Not joking. But I see the confusion.
Provider QoS is based on factors influenced
(obviously) by SLA agreements.
What is Quality?
In networking, quality can mean many things. In VoIP, quality simply means being able to listen and speak in a clear and continuous voice, without...
QoS would result in poor sound quality
and missing sound fragments.
If I understand him correctly he is using
a dedicated line now and would like to get rid of
it.
The issues you are discribing are not common
to Avaya IP Office (>5.0).
However,
When you mentioned the inside/outside nat translation I remembered
something.
I have had these issues before!
They involved a Siemens software PBX and a Juniper firewall.
In the end the main problem(s) turned out...
Hi,
Customer has an ip office 406 with Voicemailpro licenses enabled.
When upgrading/migrating from ip office (406) 5.0 to a new 500v2 (8.1)
do I need a essential edition license?
My distri says yes. Feels like robbery to me.
Do you also use SET HEADSYS 0 or 2 in 46xxsettings.txt with the latest GA firmware for 9608?
Do you hangup by "CTI or pressing drop" instead of the headset button?
I did some digging.

For CM they disabled this HEADSYS option because of...
@amriddle,
You assume correctly.
@tlpeter,
I've tried different headsets with correct HIS cord. I'd have to look up the product codes, but i think it doesn't matter. Same behavior even if i disconnect headset cord all together.
@amriddle,
You didn't read the OP correctly
Default audio path is set to headset
The problem is that the headset won't disconnect
after the call unless you press headset button
This stopped working correctly with the last firmware update.
That's just it.
I use the same setting file and only upgrade the ip handset firmware.
The problem with these sets is that the amplifier circuit is 'cheap', causing
white noise on headsets when idle but not on-hook.
Next time, try putting this information in your first post. Could save you a couple of days.
Maybe your custom report is incomplete. If i'm not mistaken, the email feature uses some elements of the report template to declare an email topic.
Check your smtp mail logs. Is the server receiving an...
