I have a Nortel CS1000E Rls 5.5 pbx talking to a Mitel 3300 switch over a DPNSS link within the same premises.
The problem I am facing is that the CPND display name is not working correctly,
- I can see name showing on incoming calls from the MITEL system but the Nortel PBX cannot use it to...
The DNUM is only group specific, i.e. you can have 0-15 in grp0 and another 0-15 in grp1. Thus on your 2-group 81C system you can have 32 DNUM's in all
Always try and use only 1 Loop within a route and keep route and loop numbers identical for tracking. This way I can control via RLB's what routes are used for incoming and what for outgoing. Dunno if that would work for all setups though, but i found it helps simplify call routing.
The DHCP string for all wired Nortel IP phones can only be the i2004 string.
There are only 2 variations of it,
Nortel-i2004-A and Nortel-i2004-B depending on phone firmware and features required.
Also if the DHCP string is wrong, how do the phones accept it when physically rebooted? As...
Hi,
Got a wierd problem. IP phones 2007 and 1140 setup with full DHCP and Auto Prov on Unistim 4.0
When I do an isetResetAll from the sigserver, the 1140 phones reboot correctly. However the 2007 sets fail at the DHCP stage. They cannot understand the DHCP string sent by the DHCP server. Only...
Firstly, if you initiated a manual reboot of the system, using the RST switch on faceplate, the stadnby CPU wil lrecognise this as a planned reboot and reboot itself. However if you were to simply pull the active card or ELAN cable from active (neither is suggested), it would have simulated...
Thanks for the quick response Mr SL1M1 :-)
But I am not using the mobile route solution. Instead I am using the MSA-DN solution, wherein a normal trunk route is being used for the calls.
Also I have traced the DASS2 circuit and can see the CLI on the messages as well as normal desk phone...
Thanks for your reply, could you explain what you mean by "check out the IDC table so that the Mobx number points to the mobile number"??
As per my understanding, the DDI number that will be used by the mobex needs to be mapped to an MSA-DN within the CS1000. Once the call hits the MSA-DN, the...
Hi All,
Got a problem with getting Mobex to work on a CS1000E 5.5 system. I am using the MSA feature rather than the dedicated route config.
I am able to correctly call the mobile phone when the desk phone is called, however this is just PCA rather than the Mobex functionality.
I have...
Hi All,
I have got a very interesting problem, which I have not been able to crack so far. Hope someone here can help with it.
Scenario : DDI call over Euro ISDN trunks need to be given an annoucement telling them that the call may be recorded
My setup : Map the DDI in IDC table to a ACDN...
Hi All,
After working with the BR-ITS developers, we found out that you need to have RCAP no set to MWI for the message waiting to work. Wierd, but it works just fine.
Solution ==> For integration with BT-ITS dealerboard over SL1 *do not* have RCAP=MWI.
Hi All,
Thanks for all the replies. My problem is that the NMS Message goes out with a STATUS of UNKNOWN instead of MWI-ON or OFF. This i think might be related to a discovery I made yesterday.
Callpilot seem to have NMS==>no in the licenses. This is interesting as the Features and Services in...
Hi All,
I have setup a CS1000E Rls 5.5 with a SL1 trunk connecting to a BT-ITS dealer board system. I have configured it as SL1 as the dealerboard guys told me it was MCDN protocol, and not QSIG. I tried with ISGF, but the B-channels wont work.
Now over the SL1 link, all features work, apart...
are you using conference based musci or broadcast music? I am not sure you will hear music if the group containing the media cards is not having a working conference loop.
Yes, the BCK server needs to have the correct NGenSys password in the log-on as Tab on the service properties. Ensure you have the correct password set there. That should fix the issue.
Check if you have them set as auto in the auto config menu. Once. You can do this by pressing AUTO when in the config adn then setting all to manual. You should then have these settings available.
