In fact we all IP Phones running on PoE, so putting a 4 ports GigE might not serve the purpose. The best way I suppose is to upgrade to 9608G as suggested by tlpeter. Thanks guys...
We have deployed 1603 & 1608. We use the switch of 16xx to network the PC as well. Now since our complete Network is on GIG and the 16xx switch is FE, we are compromising on speed. Any suggestion for the solution..!??
We have down graded 1608 with 1.3.3 to 1.3.2 to work with IPO R 8.xxx. Now all the 1608 are with the same MAC address 123456789012. How it can be recovered..???!!! Any help...!?
Thanks Pearce1991..!! The upgradation is another issue. Though IPO 500V2 is with R 9.0.3.941 having .bin files of 1350B, the phones take 1330D files only while booting..!! Can u please guide how we can take phones to 1350B..?
We are workingo IPO 500 V2 R 9.0.3.941. We are facing a strange problem with TWO 1608 phones. These TWO phones can not communicate with each other, Seperately they can operate normally with other 1608 (other than these two) as well as aalog extension. Any idea..? Both the 1608 are with 1.330D...
Sorry for insufficient info : They power up, do also have dial tone but could not establish a communication with any of other IP Pones. Please note - 1 1616 and 4 1608 work perfect among them selves. All these phones are of same firmware version..
