Thanks all, we seem to have rectified this. The IPO is using 10.0.0.10 as the LAN IP, and the phones were DHCPing on their own VLAN in the 192.1.1.x range; therefore the traffic was passing through the firewall. As you guys mentioned that was the issue.
Here is the report from the data vendor...
Re-opening this discussion.
The telephones (5 of them) are all on the same HP "HPE-1920" switch, and are ALL IP phones. None of the digital stations are experiencing the issue. The IPO NAT ports are default as 49152 through 53246.
The system has a standard 23 channel PRI for all inbound and...
Hello all.
I have an IPO 500V2 on 11.0.4.7 release 6 with intermittent one-way-audio on certain IP phones (9608s all).
The user will be on the phone talking and before long they will begin the stands that they cannot hear the calling party any longer. Testing reveals a decline party can still...
Do I understand correctly that if the system / network is already working with another SIP device (the gate phone itself is a SIP device, and was easy to deploy on the IPO)has an available SIP endpoint and power user license, that I can just build a SIP user for the Equinox and set up the app to...
Well, to be honest, the whole process seems particularly daunting. I've read up through page 60 or so of the 240+ page deployment guide and feel pretty lost.
Tek Tips has been a great resource to me many times, but post like "I'm doing something I've never tried before, I have no training in...
Hey kyle555, I'm a certified IPO installer/programmer but have never deployed Equinox.
I have an IPO customer on 11.0.4 Essential who wants the option for their gate phone (and door phone) to ring to an iPad.
Could I hire you to help me set this solution up and train me on the process?
Hello,
I just installed an Avaya IP Office 500V2(basic mode) for a customer with an existing Bogen TPU-35
I was able to get overhead ringing to work (I programmed analog ext 17 to be in the incoming ring group), but was not able to get overhead paging to work.
Seems to me that if I just get...
I could swear that I have seen and used DS 30 cables that are longer than the standard ones.
I just did an installation in Southern California to expand an existing MICS with XX software, and because of the room design I need a couple 3 meter or so fiber DS30 cables.
Does anybody know where I...
All fixed. I deleted the 370 voicemails that were in the one mailbox, and I did a remote update from 9.0.9.to 9.0.12, and it works now!
Moral of the story (as we all know): be on the latest release of software.
Thanks everyone!
I've just received some advise, and will update the gallery when i've put it into effect.
Someone smarter than I asked if there are any mailboxes with 80+ messages in them (there is one with 250+), as he's seen that block email from working for the whole system. He suggested that I delete EVERY...
Jumping out at me is "13639301mS LVM(email): VM Email request added to queue - size = 26"
Where is that queue and what might be stopping the queue from executing?
joe2938: no, there is no new WAN provider and I did the SMTP settings under System.
splitingcodec: here is a copy / paste of a section of Monitor when I did a test VM to the extension "Phone room"

I am feeling like a dunce.
I’ve got an IPO, 10.0, essential edition, and voicemail to email has been working using an office 365 SMTP server for which my customer is licensed.
As of Saturday, at 11:45 or so a.m., voicemails are no longer being received in email boxes.
Thinking that...
Sure enough, the software update fixed it. The system was actually on 10.0.3, and is now updated to 10.0.6. The update only took about 10 minutes and the problem of salt from there on out.
Thanks guys!
I’ve got an IPO basic, 9.0.9, that dial letters when a user gets into an auto attendant.
For example, my customer user, at extension 201, call another company and that company‘s auto attendant answers. Extension 201 then prices the digit four, two route to that option in the attendant, and a...
Yes, of course I don't need the short code to intercom call other stations. The Direct Dial feature is like the old Voice Call feature on the Norstar systems where you (the caller) break in on the phone's speakerphone and can automatically have a 2 way conversion.
In order to use this feature...
