Sorry to be pedantic but what your saying is you can virtualise the HT and/or mailbox role on a DC (preferrably not the DC holding the PDC emulator) but it's not recommended.
It's just that I inherited a HT on a DC and my official Microsoft trainer said not to put Exchange on a DC if you can...
But would that have any support implications if you were to contact Microsoft with any problems? And would you recommend vmware or microsoft virtual server?
