I have also a plan C
1. Open VMPro Client and connect to VM Server. From Import Export menu--> Export existing mdb to local Disk
2. Disconnect VM Pro Client from VM Server and while offline Import the mdb from local disk
3. Add prerecorded wav files to local disk C:/Program Files/Avaya/IP...
Tommy, have you try this on 11.1.2.2 ? I think this walk around doesn't work
"apply prompts" button didn't copy prerecorded wav files into the /opt/vmpro/Wavs/ directory and they aren't accessible on VMPro Client as it should. Copied and immediate delete also didn't work
They can only record...
According the docs all we should do is connect to Web App Server:7070 and Upload custom wav files to: VMProCustomPromts directory and then click "Apply Prompts"
This obviously doesn't work as the prompts .wav files transferred to a different directory: opt/ipoffice/VMProCustomPromts which is not...
Nothing. Cannot move upwards or browse to any directory.
If you change any value in the path of vm pro client it cannot returned back to default directory!
Reboot of the server didn't help
Unfortunately in VM Pro Client 11_1_2 someone type: "Wavs" in the Voicemail Server Speech directory field and the result is VM Pro prompts not playing any more, no new Prompts can be created and this path cannot be modified...
No way to change the Voicemail Server Speech directory to the default...
Its non-subscription
Web Manager connected to Application Server as Administrator showing recordings as it should

Restarting apache-tomcat service didn't make any change on this
Still service unavailable appears in User Portal while Media Manager is still running and archiving in the Application Server
Any experience on this?
It is IP500V2 R11.1.2 with Application Server 11.1.2 in a Hyper-V
Unfortunately after latest upgrade to 11.1.2.1.0 build 3 with addition of User Portal instead of WebSelf Admininstation tab, Media Manager is not available for recording access to users!
User Portal reports Recordings tab as "Currently unavailable"
Web Manager -> Applications->Media Manager=...
I know about 11.1 compatibility however i need this replace an IP500V2 11.0.x who still using VM PRO in a Win Server therefore only 11.0.x should be implemented in this case
The Avaya docs says the new Unit IP500V2A is compatible only with R11.0.4.8 or higher, however latest available 11.0.x release is 11.0.4.7 on Avaya support site.
How this Release: 11.0.4.8 can be downloaded ?
All,
we have a couple of J139 mixed with J179 on IPO R11.1.1
After J139 answers the call, there is no Audio for the first 2 seconds. After that period they're able to listen and speak normally.
J100 FW version: SIP 4.0.7.0.7
Any suggestions?
Anyone can confirm that please:
Existing Lic:
396482 IP OFFICE R10+ MEDIA MANAGER ADI MIGRATION LIC:DS "IPO Voice Recordings Administrator"
New Lic to add:
396494 IP OFFICE R11 CONTACT RECORDER TO MEDIA MANAGER UPGRADE LIC
Enables a valid R11 MEDIA Manager License?
According R11.1 Linux App Server installation Manual: "Customers with valid Contact Recorder license do not need a new license for migrating to Media Manager"
Is this correct?
Is the existing IPO "Voice Recordings Administrator" lic. enough to license R11.1 Media Manager on AppServer?
Austin, thanks for the response.
We have the knowledge to setup and configure Media Manager. However my question is what is the required licenses with minimum cost to have a valid Media Manager lic.
What other Licenses required on top of the above in order to get R11 MEDIA MANAGER?
System currently running 11.1 and Linux Application Server
On A1S theres also available for quote: 396494 IP OFFICE R11 CONTACT RECORDER TO MEDIA MANAGER UPGRADE LIC
If we add this on top of the above Lics will...
Hi all
IPO R11.1 with mixed of 1600 and J100 Avaya Phones
J129s cannot use a simple call transfer! Neither transfer and Conf. softkeys are available on J129s while on a call.
Problem is intermittent! They are able to transfer or conf some calls randomly.
J139s 1600s working without problems...
We just finished with IPO SE HYPER-V upgrade from R11.0.4.5 to 11.1 FP1 following above steps carefully.
However now we get "Invalid License file" error and all phones dropped as unlicensed. We have done the upgrade on the exact same server environment as licensed.
Did i missed something...
