    SCH 8885

I'm getting this code when trying to change the SPCL in LD 15 under FFC data from 4 digits to 5 digits. The last sentence of this is what concerns me. What is it saying? SCH8885 Warning: The active password length is changed only if new configuration data is dumped, and a complete data load and...

Block incoming call to PBX based on CLID

Thanks for the Tip. It looks like it should work. The only problem is this caller will just probably move to calling another number. We're exploring the possibility of installing a voice firewall on the PBX.

CP server down in phone display

Twice now we have received "CP Server Down" and found that the telstrat servers had been down over the weekend. Can anyone tell me what kind of alarms are sent to the phones and is this documented anywhere in the NTPs?

    bars parcer '97

thanks for the reply Skip. I save a txt file on my desktop then open the barsparcer file (barpar.97 xls) It opens a browser window and I select the txt file from my desktop. It parces the txt file into an EXCEL spreadsheet. When I do a "save as" to save the Excel doc on my desktop it acts like...

    bars parcer '97

Yes, I have a save as option in the pull down but when the file is viewed it automatically opens the parcer again. All in my group who are using the '97 version are experiencing the same thing. I guess I could do a copy and paste but never had to do that before.

    bars parcer '97

My old bars parcer '97 is not working well since my PC was upgraded to MS Office '07. It parces the text file but won't let me save it. When I try and look at the file I supposedly just saved it takes me back through the parcing routine again. I can look at the parced info but it doesn't appear...

    bars parcer '97

My old bars parcer '97 doesn't seem to work properly now that I have MS '07 on my PC. When I try and do a "save as" the file is empty and prompts me to reload the original text file again. It parces the file but again it won't let me save the document. Any ideas?

Implementing PBX authcodes for LD calling

GHTROUT, Thanks for the info. I've already tried that senario. This test bed opt 11 is programmed with easy bars using SPNs and I have the number I'm dialing, 1615 programmed as an SPN of 16 with FLEN of 11 and getting the 11 seconds longer delay that the Opt 61C programmed with 1615 programmed...

Implementing PBX authcodes for LD calling

Forgot to mention that the delay is between the last digit of the number being dialed and the burst of tone(confirmation tone) before entering the pbx authcode. Hope this will help in providing an answer tomy question.

Implementing PBX authcodes for LD calling

I'm trialing using pbx authcodes as opposed to LD vendor authcodes. I've set up the AUB and AUT blocks. I'm using a 7 digit authcode. I'm choosing authcode unconditionally last on the Opt 11 to try and duplicate the dialing pattern currently being used with Verizon/MCI on the 61C. When dialing...
