It sounds like your "good drive" may not be that good, usually if the DBMS SAVE reports instantly that it has completed it means your drive is faulty. It would normally take a couple of minutes or so on an SX2K.
Hi All,
anyone come across this before, I have a 3300 ICP with MCD 4.1 and Embedded ISDN PRI Trunks in the UK, what the client would like to do is when they forward an extension to a mobile number is have the original incomming callers CLI pass out to the mobile instead of the 3300s default...
Hi all,
This has been touched on in previous threads but I am just looking for a bit of further info if possible, 3300 MCD 6.0 using 5550 4.2.2.13, I have installed the software onto a Windows 7 PC using an admin account and all went well, however when the next switchboard operator (of which...
Ready to be corrected if this is not right but I think the orignal MXe controller came with a 64 channel Echo Cancellation module, wheras the MXE II & III come without a hardware echo canelation card unless it is expanded, in which case the MXe II and III only support the 128 channel card, not...
There are numerous Datasets that provided the Serial Interface, a DS2103 was one of the most common ones, it connected to a digital extension port and provided a 25 way serial port, most commonly used in hotels to link into a front of house PC but in 2 APNSS connected SX2000s there would be 1 on...
PS, getting an SX2000 that has the APNSS licence would be nigh on impossible and I don't think you can purchase the options from Mitel any more, and also as LoopyLou pointed out Per Cabs are now discontinued although probably availble second hand. It also needs a DSU Cab & Cept Formatter along...
I think what you have is "APNSS" which the Mitel SX2000 supports but the 3300 does not as it does not support the Datasets that provided the serial interface for signalling, if your APNSS can be stripped back to basic E&Ms you could link into a 3300 that could then provide QSIG onwards, but if...
@ Sarond
"If you are saying the First Name and Last Name entry in the form stay as is and the Directory Name updates then yes I have seen this."
Hi Sarond,
can you provide any additional info about this, we have just upgraded to 4.1 and are seeing exactly what you describe and not sure...
If your OPSMAN is already configured properly to talk to the SX2000 and take backups, and your SX2000 is running LW 34 you are already half way there. In the DATA SAVE folder on the OPS MAN drive will be the scheduled backup files that OPS MAN takes from the SX2000. This can be directly restored...
If you are faxing to other PSTN numbers over a SIP service provider I dont think T38 will make any difference, T38 would only be of any use if you were faxing to another PBX that also supported T38. There are a couple of COS options to enable for your fax machine, CAMP ON TONE/FAX MACHINE & BUSY...
Just to backup what Billz66 says, I think the new UCA due around november/december will feature a SIP softphone client that will work on smart phones and allow video calling between the SIP softphone and Desktop based softphone. Not sure if the desktop softphone will also be SIP based or still...
What we have in the Network element assigment on the 3300s is a node type "other" with a PBX number assigned to it (this is OCS). This is present on all the 3300s. There is ARS routing with the CEID digits to tell each 3300 how to route this DN back to its home element and on the home element...
Hi all,
On a cluster with several 3300s at release 4.0 and managed by OPS MAN, the OPS MAN has a "non-mitel node" configured that basically lets us create DN'S against it using OPS MAN and these entries are synched out to the 3300s to create remote DN entries so that all the calls to the DN can...
Give your user the Manager passcode only, that way they will not be able to delete the whole voicemail system. The prompt will still play something along the lines of "to delete the whole system and start a new installation" but as long as they have logged in with the manager pin code and not...
We built a new virtual machine, used the new .ova file and cleared the hardware ID on MOL, disabled the old one and did a restore from the backup of the old one. the whole process took forty minutes or so. If you have UCA the users will be asked to download the new client and thats pretty much...
It will tell you whether the Activity Freeze is on. If so it will not switch. When you say changing drives do you mean doing an Activity Switch and how do you go about doing it ? Also if the Act Switch is programmed and switched on the system should give a valid reason in the Maintenance logs...
