    VBScript action not always firing

I've rewritten it using the DB actions, and actually now works perfectly!!! AACon - you were right, it was super-easy!! Serves me right for trying to reinvent the wheel :-)

    Spoke too soon.....!

    VBScript action not always firing

Aha! Think I may have a solution (and it's not my dodgy coding - for once!) Did a bit more Googling, and found I might need to look in DbgOut.txt (I didn't know that was the VMPro log until then!) - Had a look in there, and sure enough found some errors starting the VBS temporary file it...

    VBScript action not always firing

Here you go: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B-z-h804JA0UTkxOZzNRTnRSUjZtUDZKc2RuNEdyZw It ain't pretty code, but (when VMPro lets it) it does work :-)

    VBScript action not always firing

I've got a trial Advanced Edition licence on my VMPro at the moment as I'm trying out some VBScript stuff that we want to use shortly, but got an odd problem with it. Thought I'd ask here first before going to our reseller as it may be something in the code I can do as opposed to something else...

    VMPro callflow fudging

Guys, I'm wanting to do something that appears to be impossible (without spending cash on either VBScript or Database plugins!), unless there's any other good ideas! Until now, our out-of-hours support has been me, me and me. Now I've got another guy, and we each take turns on a rota. Our...

    T38 Faxing

£75 is around what I was quoted (actually was a tiny bit less) Was advised to wait for the next release in a few weeks time, but that's ok... I'm on hols for a couple of weeks shortly, so that'll help me to bear the wait!

    T38 Faxing

Just had a chat with our vendor. Quite pleased actually... It's cheaper than buying the fax card!!! Woohoo! Looks like someone's going to look good in front of the Financial Controller later today :-))

    T38 Faxing

Ah.... starting to think it could be cheaper & less hassle to get the fax card to replace the modems with!!

    T38 Faxing

The new release of our faxing software that we use (Relayfax, if anyone's interested) is coming out soon, and has T38 faxing facilities in it, which would be great for me as I don't want to have to shell out for a dedicated fax card as the basic modems I'm using are causing more trouble than...

SQL 2000 Enterprise on Server 2008

Yeah, thought it might be a bit dodgy to try :-) Company has deep pockets & short arms... Might have to tell them to stop being so tight & shell out for 2005!!

SQL 2000 Enterprise on Server 2008

We're looking at upgrading our aging SQL box for something with a bit more power and memory in it. If I understand correctly, to get access to more than 4Gb of RAM, I need a Windows installation that will also access the extra, so I'm looking at Server 2008 (x64). However, the additional cost...

    Internal auto call recording

Hi Guys, After trawling through the Avaya docs and this site, I know I can't record internal calls (which is a shame, because of the managers wants to record someone's calls internally). However, we do have a call recorder hooked up between the PRI and the IP Office. Is there a way I can get...

    Different Ringtones

Oh well, never mind! Something to add to the 4.3 wishlist? :-)

    Different Ringtones

Ah, sorry, I just realised I possibly wasn't clear enough in my original post :-) I meant when someone else's phone in our team is ringing... It's easy when it's your own as the phone shows "CallerIDHere>IT Department", but not quite so easy when it's someone on the other side of the room...

    Different Ringtones

A thought just manifested itself in one of my co-worker's brains! Is there a way to modify the ringtone based on the number called, for example... Direct-dialling an extention sounds one way, but calling via a hunt-group sounds different. It's so when we pickup calls in our group, we know what...

    Home User over Christmas

Hopefully this real world example might help... Our office LAN on IP range 192.168.0.x, including a managed VPN router supplied by ISP. Home user has a VPN Router with a local IP range of 192.168.35.x, DHCP enabled. I used a Linksys RV042. In IPO Manager, added an IP Route for IP Address...

    Automatic hunt group enable/disable

Thanks for all you help on this one guys! I've currently got me in an overflow group (kicks in after 12 seconds, so about 4 rings) which is set to Collective ringing and includes me, and has been working well over the last day or so. The info on the queueing was interesting, so might have a...

    Automatic hunt group enable/disable

Actually, the overflow group sounds easier!! Don't know why I didn't think of that myself... was just concentrating on one train of thought I think!! I'll give it a whirl now (it's lunch in about 15 minutes for a couple of the guys!) and if I struggle, I'll be back here in a couple of hours!
