That's what I said. I asked the customer to run a new cable to the terminal in the warehouse. This is a manufacturing facility and their staff will get the wire run. Good for me. This way we know we have a cable straight from the equipment room out to the phone. I'll let you know what happens.
When you outdial from this extension (fax) you get the correct caller id information? Can you dial internally to the 3 digit number associated with the fax and hit the fax machine? Is the fax set to auto answer (very common that the feature gets changed on the machine)...
If you are familiar with the normal password changing procedure in the Voice Mail system, you would simply call into the system and login as the Administrator. Go through prompts and I believe prompt 5 lets you change the Admin password. Good luck. Let me know if this works.

The s/l extension when plugged in gives a half ring then gets "the tone". When there is nothing plugged in to the port it rings 4 times then goes to V.M. I did NOT attempt to remove a forward, perhaps I should try that. To remove a forwarded phone, is the code *33 extension number ?
