i would say skip premier altogether, and the ezcleaner wizard... i fooled around with that and found a better program... tmpgenc high quality mpeg encoder version 2... go to www.tmpgenc.com for a demo version garunteed mint encoder compresses 850mb vid to 35mb no loss of quality... peace

i experienced similar problems exporting to tape... what i do now is render the entire thing first (onto my hard drive) then create a new project, import that render, then export to tape... make sure your project is dv ntsc standard 32 kHz... play with other export settings...
its not quite so easy... when you do slowmotion you are essentially expanding the clip.. so make sure to leave room on both sides, then fit the nose and tail clips around the newly slowmotion-ized clip.. peace

Right-click on the clip you want to play in reverse the select speed then enter a negative number in the speed field, -100% is regular speed just backwards, etc. Also note that you should edit the clip forward first then reverse it or else your croppings will come out backwards.
Export your timeline, then create a new project under the preset DV - NTSC Standard 32 kHz. Import the saved timeline, then export to tape. Make sure your camera is on and in VCR playback mode. On your desktop the preview may look choppy but on the LCD of your cam you should see the movie...
