We have a blind employee that has a digital handset and Phone Manager Pro installed. He uses a srceen reader called JAWS. He would like to know who is calling him. I looked in phone manager and there is a pop up option for an external program. I set it to notepad. It launched notepad when a call...
I'm setting up a few VoIP phones that will connect to our main IPO here in Austin. All of the people getting the new phones will be outside of Austin in different area codes. How can I setup 911 emergency ARS dialing for these folks?
We currently have MX7 standard installed on Windows 2003 R2, but plan to move to Windows 2008 R2 and CF9 standard. What's the procedure for moving our CF settings and data to the new server? (backend on MX7 is MS Sql 2005 and MS Sql 2008 R2 on new CF9 server)
Turns out MessageLags had us blacklisted. I had looked on mxtoolbox and did a blacklist scan there, but none from the list had us blacklisted.
MessageLabs support will not talk to the company getting blacklisted. You have to call the customer affected. Luckily they went ahead and made the change.
We've had an issue sending email to another business that uses MessageLabs. All email sent from our Exchange 2010 server times out. If I manually telnet port 25 from my mail server to the primary MX for MessageLabs it times out, but if I telnet to the secondary MX it connects immediately.

I have five one man offices. They are using POTS single line phones via AT&T.
Our main office has an Avaya IP Office 500 v1release6. I have an extra SIP license since we moved from SIP to PRI. I'd like these remote offices to have ability to dial extensions in main office.

All of my IPO 500's v6 are setup with LAN1 port. I've seen some posts that recommend using the WAN port instead. It looks like LAN1 and LAN2 both have the same QoS options. Is there any advantage to using LAN2?
We're running v6 on all of our systems. When I make a change (ext. move). Those changes get lost the next time the IPO is rebooted. I'm saving the config after the change?
Any ideas?
We currently run seven IPOffice and VMPro systems on version 6. Our infrastructure is PRI over MPLS and digital handsets. Any features in R7 worth upgrading for?
I have all of my SIP traffic going to one IP Office 500 thru LAN1. Paetec setup a seperate subnet for our IP Office system so we could isolate the traffic. I'd like to move it back to our local LAN subnet. If I do that will Paetec reregister our SIP automatically or do I need to contact Paetec...

Can I use LAN1 and LAN2 on separate subnets?
We have IP Office 500 v6 running in seven locations. All incoming and outgoing phone calls go through our main office (SIP). We will move to another MPLS provider and switch away from SIP to PRI. Until we get all of our locations moved to the new...
