I did use a wireless keyboard & mouse ! I changed to a USB keyboard and it still did not work ! I used a USB-PS2 adapter for the keyboard and the CD booted up right away .
So the verdict : the Bios in my PC does not support USB & wireless...
My old PC ( WinXP pro + Sp3 , Celeron 2.4 Mhz, MSI 6728 mobo) developed a booting issue : it does not boot from a bootable CDR anymore (i.e the same disc boots up from another newer PC without any problem !) .
I intend to reformat the Hard disk but now even the bootable Win XP pro CD disk...

It's just an .exe for the trial shareware called "Picture Collage Maker Pro v2.0.7 (Build 2267)" which I downloaded from the author's website . Nothing special about this program at all !
So this could be the author's error in...
When I installed a particular program (System : Windows XP Pro + SP3) , I got this error message :

I guess this is a Windows Installer issue .
I have tried these procedures without success :
1)Use Windows Installer cleaner to clear old versions
2)...
I had to re-install Windows and evrything is back to normal again . I guess some files must have been corruptes !

For some unknown reasons, my compter ( Win XP Pro SP2) reboots each time I start Internet Explorer ! Is this a signal of virus or malwares or registry being corrupted ?
Do I need to re-install Windows ? Please help ...Thanks
BTW, I have ZoneAlarm Internet Security installed and this RootKit Win32 malware was still able to sneak in ....
I heard Kaspersky could catch this bugger easily ... Any comment ? Thanks

I searched the Net , using Google for a solution and by pure luck, I stumbled on a right-on-the-neck fix .
It turned out to be a terrible malware : Rootkit.win32 , an extremely resistant one !!
I DL the the fix, followed the instruction and...
On the desktop, when I clicked on "my computer" -> Drive: E,F or G, I got this error message :

Note that if I right-click on the drive and select "Explore" , I can still access everything on the drive .
Drive C;\ and D:\ are unaffected by this problem...
