We have two domains, the exchange server is not the domain controller. However I can send and receive within the exchange environment, as well as external to the company. But when I try to send to the other mail server (IMail) it states that it cannot find the users address.
The following...

I was finally able to figure out the solution to this little problem. Seems that when I updated the firmware of the Linksys router it reset the option for MTU. It cranked the value to high and turned it off. I was able to ping my ISP and figure out the correct MTU setting, once I turned it...
I have two network printers, and I was wondering if there is a way to generate user information like username, machine name etc on either a head or footer of the first printed page. I know how to get the seperator page to work but my management feels this is a waste of paper and would like just...
I currently have a HP LaserJet 4 Plus attached to a HP JetDirect 300x printing through a Windows 2000 server. Is there a way to force a page out at the beginning of someone's print job that has their user name in big bold letters, then followed by their real print job? We get a lot of junk...

On the other side of the firewall is a NT 4.0 DC. I need to make the two of them talk. Reason...
Nevermind, I was able to correct it. Seems that the shares need to be more specific in their security settings. The Everyone user with full access is not enough.

Under System Tools there is a section for Shared Folders and within that there are sections for shares, sessions and open files.
Hope this helps.

Actually I was only able to get it to work on my home PC. The original install that I did at the client's site doesn't seem to be corrected.

Is the service just...
