    Transfer action from Timeout

I had Retries set to 3, thinking invalid entries would mean any entry not programmed other than Timeout. Timeout apparently implements the retries. I set it to 0 and it works. Thanks...

    Transfer action from Timeout

Hello, On Voicemail Pro 4.2(24), we've got a module for our main local number. The user is presented with a number of options in a Menu action -- 1 for customer care, 2 for sales, 0 for the operator, or stay on the line and your call will be transferred to the operator. The Timeout path is...

    250 Unread Voicemails

I went into Phone Manager and deleted from there. I took your good advice and changed the setting to Forward. Thanks!

    250 Unread Voicemails

Hello. I have a user who has never listened to his voicemails from his extension. He gets a copy emailed to him through IP Office so he's never had the need. Is there a quick way to delete them without going through every one of them on the phone? Thank you.

    Dialing from log dials 0

    Very cool, sizbut. That worked.

    Dialing from log dials 0

Thanks, h382. It'll require a reboot so I'll let you know how it goes later. FYI, the Prefix field is blank. 9 is assumed?

    Dialing from log dials 0

Oops. In the subject line I meant to say Dials 9, not 0.

    Dialing from log dials 0

Hi Folks, We are looking into changing the outside line access number from 9 to 7. On my 5621, if I dial number from the call log, it wants to prefix the number with a 9. How can this be changed to a 7? Thanks, -Russ

Voicemail Pro 4.1 (27) User Mailbox instructions wrong

The instructions aren't wrong, you have the wrong instructions." You are correct. I made the mistake of using the CEO's language. And I didn't realize until you pointed this out that their are different modes. kwing112000: Thanks for the link! Thanks! -Russ

Voicemail Pro 4.1 (27) User Mailbox instructions wrong

Hi Folks! I have been getting complaints the instructions we sent out for using voicemail, that what is written is wrong. I verified this. I have a PDF dated 2002. I decided to print a PDF from the IP Office Mode Mailbox section of the help file. I started going through it and it's...

    Removing non-numeric characters (TAPI dialing)

Thanks for the response. I'm not having any problems with area codes, carrier codes, or dialing 9 to access an outside line. It's just the dots (.) in the phone number that need addressing. Otherwise I will needs to remove the dots in the phone numbers which would make readability and issue.

    Removing non-numeric characters (TAPI dialing)

I have been successful in setting up TAPI dialing on our IP Office 500. I can dial out of MS Outlook and the dialer that comes with Windows XP. Our CRM package can perform dialing via TAPI. However, the numbers are stored in the database with formatting characters. Basically the numbers are...

    Example TAPI code

We recently purchased an Avaya IP Office 500. The TAPI stuff looks promising, even for a developer. I've looked at some of their code samples and, wow, what a mess. It seems like they throw whole ball of wax at you, and trying to find sample code that grabs an extension and dials out is...

Is it me or is it Macola? (Cycle counts)

Don, Sorry, I misread your last post which said that transactions on the date of the freeze and before would be cause the behavior I'm seeing. I just tested this by backdating the freeze date to the prior date and it worked fine. This however seems counter-intuitive to have to back date the...

Is it me or is it Macola? (Cycle counts)

Hi Don, The receipt transaction was on the same date as the freeze date. I guess there's something wrong here, since the facts belie how Macola should function. We can handle this procedurally I think.

Is it me or is it Macola? (Cycle counts)

The freeze date is the same date as the 8:12am transaction. All of this occured on the same day in a 1.5 hour window. But here's something interesting. The cycle count workseet shows a frozen qty of 9,869 pcs (I'll be using the exact figures now - disregard the figures I used as examples)...

Is it me or is it Macola? (Cycle counts)

What am I missing? This is from the cycle count select screen help in Macola regarding the check box labeled "Use Frozen Qtys In Calculations": "If you activate this check box, Progression will use a calculated value based on the frozen quantity to update inventory. Leave this...

    Who printed that order?

To my knowledge Macola won't do this natively. Intuitively, I can't imagine an off-the-shelf third party app that could do this. I suppose a trigger in SQL server could manage this. Either that, or you could employ Flexibility.

    Export Macola Users

I've attempted this before and I always give up. It seems like such a complicated scheme for such a simple function.

    Physical Inventory Tags

Correct, we do not use multibins. I don't remember exactly why. Seems there was some issue with overburdening order processing.
