I have been successful in setting up TAPI dialing on our IP Office 500. I can dial out of MS Outlook and the dialer that comes with Windows XP.
Our CRM package can perform dialing via TAPI. However, the numbers are stored in the database with formatting characters. Basically the numbers are consistently formatted nnn.nnn.nnnn in the database. There is no "masking" feature like Outlook has. If I put the number in the phone number fields the way you normally would dial on the phone it works fine.
The 9 and 1 are not in the CRM phone numbers, but we were able to get around this by adding an ARS code xxxxxxxxxx, and NOT sending the dots in the phone number. Can we filter the dots somehow?
Any suggestions or further information?
Thanks!
