    Outgoing CLI

Thanks again. I could not get the individual ext number to work but we did get the ACD group to output the ACD number so anyone being called will call back to the correct place.

    Outgoing CLI

Thanks for that. I have done all the config and it appears the outgoing line has precedence as we have proved the coorect info is going to line but the called party still gets the main office number on the display. Our suppliers are having a look why

We spoke to Nortel and we were shocked by the customer service we got from them!!! They have sent us a whole stack of new hubs and we have to send ours back to them. Total cost to us zero. Nice one Nortel

    Digit manipulation

I am trying to automate the entry to an IVR system that invites the caller to "dial the extension of the person you want to speak to". I have set up a DSC which is 7 digits long, 3 for site code and four for extension. I have used a DMI to delete the first 3 and add the PSTN number to...

Bought a baystack 252, any way to change segments without a 250?

    2250 Attendant Console

I am fairly sure they are not programmed as they are similar to keys on a digital phone and are set according to your requirements. Programmed in LD12

    Local and distant steering codes

I am trying to route a call from one Meridian over a VPN to another and out of the second Meridian to an external voicemail system. The call arrives at the second system and is routed through a local steering code (LSC) to remove the first three digits of the dialled number used to route the...

What the heck is an MCDN

MCDNs show up on our system as the route to Meridian Mail. The DN for mail is 7000. In LD 11 print a DNB and use 7000 as the DN and is shows as MCDN with two TN numbers (two port system). Printing the TN in LD11 gives more info. IE ACD numbers etc
