When you 1st add an attendant console, are certain keys already programmed in.. ie, Tone, Barge, etc.

If so, what are they.

Also, I have a user who states that when she places a call through the console, she cannot use * and/or #.

Any ideas.

I can't remember off the top of my head what comes programmed when you set up a console but the second part of your question:

You have to make sure there is a DTMF key (end to end signaling [EES]) is programmed on the console. This provide the ablility to dial numbers that need DTMF tones such as Pagers, intercom and some voicemail systems.

Hope that helps -=Rick Cruz=-

I am fairly sure they are not programmed as they are similar to keys on a digital phone and are set according to your requirements.
Programmed in LD12

Yup, Your'right. All keys need to be programed.
The key-strip on the right of the console you
define in LD 12 just as you would with a
digital set, and the ICI-key's (Incomming Call Indicator)
you find in LD 15.
To print the console : LD 20 , PRT, TYPE 2250
and to print the ICI-keys : LD 21 , PRT, TYPE ATT
